I saw angels fall down
At the glory of the Lord And as I raise my hands I see I saw angels fall down At the glory of the Lord And as I hit the ground I see And I fall down Afraid and shaking here And I fall down I'm perfectly safe in right here I saw angels fall down At the glory of the Lord The hurt and the broken find rest here I saw angels fall down At the beauty of the Lord And as I kneeled I cried to know him And I fall down Afraid and shaking here And I fall down I'm perfectly safe in here I'm perfectly safe in here I'm perfectly safe in here ------------------------------------- Angels Fall Down - Skillet  ------------------------------------- Symbolism: The idea behind this piece is very personal. The concept of a fallen angel is very common, as is the angel being chained down. Perhaps because many can relate to feeling they have no way out, or back. But personally, I have been in a situation where I could see the way out, I could see happiness right in front of me but held on to something and didn't want to let go. This is why the angel has the keys to her bindings right in her hand. She could choose to return to heaven, but memories of earth still consume her heart and mind.   Sparkles, this one is really quite awesome. It has a great concept. The light from the clouds is really well done and it flows well and fits together naturally, well done!
